Chairman, President and CEO, AGCO

The Story:
Martin Richenhagen joined AGCO, Your Agriculture Company, in 2004. AGCO, headquartered in Duluth, is the world’s largest manufacturer purely focused on agriculture. AGCO offers a full product line of agricultural equipment sold under the core brands of Challenger®, Fendt®, Massey Ferguson® and Valtra® in over 140 countries.
How I Got Here:
I never anticipated running a large company. With careers ranging from teacher and horse trainer to a CEO, one can see that I was always open to changes and to learning new things.
What I Do for Fun:
I have enjoyed working with horses all my life. I love how the horse and rider work together as a team. In 2008, I served as chef d’equipe of the German Dressage Team in the Beijing Olympics.
My Big Dream:
That one day every man, woman and child would own one of AGCO’s products.
What’s Next For Me:
To continue to provide high-tech solutions for farmers feeding the world, while redefining and leading the agricultural equipment category by increasing the efficiency and productivity of farmers.
